Making a Credit Card Authorization

To Authorize (Hold) but not Capture (Charge) a Charge, use the Paytram - {Gateway Name} - Authorize Card Subflow instead of the Charge Card subflow. The instructions are exactly the same as the Making a Credit Card Charge instructions, but the result will be a pending transaction, but not a completed one.

While gateway settings vary how long you are able to capture a Authorized charge, typically it can be done for 7-30 days. Contact your gateway or merchant service provider for more details about those limits.
